My memory card can't be accessed anymore it just says the card is unavailabe and it has fatal errors! Does this mean my card died? 
It shows the same message in any device (pc and bb 9800) it's the original 4gig that came with bb * +

there's no way of fixing this problem? please help guys? or atleast a way of extracting the data from the mmc?

You might save the card, but not the data....right click my computer, then on manage....look for drives, locate memcard and right click on it, format......after a while it should ask if a force-format should be done if normal formatting fails.....good luck!...... * +

Ps, hifi corp has got a special on R228 for a 16 gig original Sandisk memcard.....got one for my 9780....so far it performs perfectly, I know not all sd cards are compatible with bb, but Sandisk gives no problems at all...... * +
