@socialco I have downloaded from that site, installed on my pc and downloaded new version of desktop software but still can't update my phone and I'm not the only one with this problem. tried serching the net and even blackberry sa page I found lots of people having same problem * +

after you downloaded the os 7.1 update,install it on pc,then go to c/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader/apploader.exe,then delete vendor.xml file,run apploader and follow the prompts *
