The 9900 did 228 kb/s on bis........between 7pm to around 8am.......so higher speeds is possible, but I won't reccomend one of those, my experience with it was that its not worth the extra money, I stupidly paid R2000 plus 1 almost new bb 9780, plus another one with a few minor faults for the 9900, but ended right back with a 9780.....the BEST bb out there!(Just my opinion)... *
