I recently bought a cell c sim, popped it in my Torch and I have no signal, I live in mountain view. I put the same sim in a nokia n86 and I have full 3G reception. What is the problem? I also have full 3G on 8ta using the Torch. * +

The Torch 9800 is no longer supported by Cellc, that is why I got rid of mine long ago..... * +

8ta should be fine, I'm less than 3 km from you, but 8ta tends to drop 3g signal now and then........ * +

my 8ta signal stays strong, the tower is relatively close, what are the everage speeds? I'm hoping for more than 100Kbps. * +

I'm using 8ta for pc internet, 120 kb/s up to 600 kb/s, but average these days is 240 kb/s on 28mb/s hsdpa plus modem...... * +
