because the best bb's on the market now is the 9810 and 9900,so if i have to pick one between 9790 and 9900,the 9900 is the logical choice * +

even with all the battery issues that I have read and heard of?? Not to mention even though it has HD video recording the camera lacks autofocus. So compared to even a 9780, the 9900 will not take clear shots as a 9780 would. Or maybe i'm just against big phones. To answer the pw i would go for 9790. Only thing i hear that's awesome on the 9900 is the keyboard on it. new 7.1 update improves on the battery abit but that is subjective to various factors mainly phone usage. * +

Phly_kid, you cannot compare the 9780 to the 9900. I have a 9930. My phone kraps on the 9780. bigger screen, new OS, higher resolution, touch, HD recording, faster HSDPA, proximity, compass, augmented reality, 720p recording, faster CPU, more RAM. 8GB onboard memory. much more that I didn't mention. compare that to the 9780. * +

battery issues can mostly be solved with the 7.1 update with battery saver.i would still go for 9900 as i have a 9810 and 9900's specs are pretty much the same as the 9810. * +
