it is a common BB problem. - but it also depends how you use it, if you on the internet all the time, downloading etc and not in stand by mode then it will drain rapidly * +

i also have 9810,your battery is poor for the first week or two,but it does improve with time.upgrade your phone to os 7.1,it has a battery saver * +

Id say turn off 3G in network settings, thats the best way to deal with it, only turn it on when you do large downloads. *
