how do we update os5 to os6, I downloaded the 150mb file,installed it and then went to update device, but it says there is no updates for the phone. * +

When I did it, I installed the downloaded file, opened the pc suit and it gave me the option, but that was a hybrid os which in the end ruined my phone...the versions on that site seem to be lower than the one I currently have now * +

go to the download link above and download the software,after download,install the software on your pc then go to C://program files/common files/research in motion/apploader/loader.exe and follow the prompts.Please remember to delete the vendor.xml file in Apploader folder.Also remember to select automatically backup and restore option so that you don't loose your data *
