Hi I plan on getting my blackberry 9300 soon, I'm in South Africa Durban, which network will provide me with the best speed? State the speed you are getting currently, thanks in advance. * +

I live in durban and get fairly average speeds on MTN. From what I gather Vodacom is the worst when it comes to speeds. Apparently Cell C is the fastest. On MTN the speeds r dependent on peak/offpeak periods * +

cell C is getting different speeds now days. I'm getting anything from 30kbps to 120kbps. depends what time of the day, what site and where I am. I'm from chatsworth and get good 3G coverage on my 9300. * +

I have the same fone as the above user and I live in the same area but I'm on vodacom, my speeds are decreased dramatically the highest it goes is 100kb per second and that's on a good day * +

I used a voda sim prevously and was getting anything between 5kb to 12kb regardless of time. I use the phone for business purposes and was locked in a 24 month contract. Bought a prepaid cell c sim and it is blisteringly fast on downloading large email attachments. I travel between jhb and durban. I have a 9300 * +

I have a blackberry bold 9900 and today I downloaded a 700mb file @ 800KB/s. OMG. Yes 8ta is by far the best if you have 8ta towers close by. I have had my sim provisioned so it can connect to 8ta network if I have coverage but roam MTN if I don't. Best setup works like a dream. d*mn its actually faster than my 4mb adsl at home * +
