how do I update my bold 9900 to this 7.1? I'm in south africa if that makes any difference. when connecting my phone to desktop manager 6.1 I think the latest one is, it says my phone software is up to date. plz help guys * +

go to the download link above and download the software,after download,install the software on your pc then go to C://program files/common files/research in motion/apploader/loader.exe and follow the prompts.Please remember to delete the vendor.xml file in Apploader folder.Also remember to select automatically backup and restore option * +

I was gonna wait for Orange UK official release of 7.1 update but it just seems to be taking ages n ages so I'm considering this.
