I knew this would happen. Id recommend you either get a BB9780 that will be a downgrade in software but upgrade in battery OR get a 9810 Torch, it seems to be the best of the OS7 bunch. * +

I wonder who dezigns and tests these new phones? Surely if they tested it they would have picked up on the issues? I mean seriously now...? The 9790 is supposed to be an UPGRADE to the 9780,bt with all the issues it doesn't come close....Maybe time for the Real Idiot Mobile club to rethink the way they dezign phones....? * +

think abt company image,etc etc. Now,straight of the bat thenew 9790 has a bad reputation for overheating and ty battery life....or is it a case of the consumer tests and they work on the issues for the next range of BB's? * +

The simple fact is that BlackBerry rushed these BB OS7 phones like the 9900 Bold, 9790, 9860, 9810 etc...as a stop gap between the OS6 phones and their BB10 device(s) which will based on the same platform as the Playbook tablet, so they cut back on Research and Development and what you have in your hands is the result. Truth is RIM is a company in the middle of a crisis, and its affecting their products.Their peak was the Bold 9780, although the 9810 seems to be not so bad next to other OS7 BBs. *
