I have been looking at these two phones trying to figure out which to get. On some sites they claim 9360 just about crushes the 9780 at all angles. however th enly saving grace i could find about the 9780 is awesome battery - 1500mAh compared to 1000mAh - and the fact that the Bold has a dope autofocus camera. the EDOF one in the curve s*cks. i would like to hear your opinions which might make or break my decision * +

The bold was a flagship and the curve is just entry model and cheap too yet it has OS 7, 512mb ram as well as 512mb space, add to that both screens are the same. I'm thinking the webkit browser in OS 7 is better than on OS 6 plus the curve has a higher specced CPU at 800mhz as opposed to 624Mhz. In this day and age does it make sense to still buy the bold still running OS 6? Granted I may not like the bead like keys on the curve but it only fails on camera, keypad and battery. * +

I was to go with 9790 but sadly it is not in SA yet as far as i know. After considering it for some time i then decided to settle for the bold. Upon abit of surfing today I come to the shocking realization that the new 7.1 update gives the curve 9360 RADIO!! imagine 5fm all day no data required! as well as mobile hotspot capabilities so you can use the phone as a hotspot for other devices to connect to! And this is after i have already ordered a bold due in like 2 weeks!! * +

its all bout the pro's and con's bra. decide exactly what you need from each phone and choose whichever one has more to offer, that's my opinion. For instance I'm looking to get a 64gb playbook by july, ppl will say why choose the playbook when you can get an ipad n so forth. for me its not that this pad or that pad outdoes the playbook, but more of a convenience factor, phly go with whichever device tickles your pickle bra. * +

problem is both do.. and when i seem to settle on the bold the curve just seems to be enticing/seducing me with dreamy features. yes i can stream radio on bold and hotspot capability wont be really used coz my pc has no wi-fi card but you can see how i could be worn over by such novelties esp as a young man that likes being up to date with technology. Hmm... will settle for bold still. i guess it wudnt be bad as my first entry into bb world plus i have it all figured out somewhat. * +

then by all means phly grab that bold with both hands you can always get a 9360 simulator for your pc and play around with it there * +
