hi folks. Is it possible to use blkberry 93hundred curve as modem on laptop. The browser on the fone is a real let down. Thought it would be better if i just connect to laptop and download the normal way. Is it possible to have fone as modem? * +

I use it as a modem some times to connect to remote desktop an teamspeak server so you should be able to surf fine. * +

oh and i notice when i use opera mini, my airtime/credit gets used up. But when i use bb browser i surf net for free... while on laptop using chrome, will i surf without using up my airtime? * +

using your phone as a modem will use up your airtime no matter if you're using chrome,firefox,opera,ie,or whatever other browser. the only way to tether for free is to have a huge data bundle then you can surf for ''free''

unquiet, i also have a 9300 and connect to laptop but initially i didnt realize i had to download the desktop manager first as its not supplied in that little disk. once you installed the desktop manager youll be able to connect to internet and also do backups and such. * +
