yup, looks like an import phone, has Verizon Wireless when I start it up, and nah the nutter said that I was getting a 9500, but only after I took the phone home, I realised its a 9530. * +

as far as the LCD going black, some people say its caused by a bug in the software, it worked okay, except for the signal probs with V.4.6, after I did a software upgrade it went bonkers. if I change the whole housing, would that help? *
