compared to which phone? i always thought the 9780 battery is superior and it should be better compared to all the batteries from the recent blackberry lineup since the 8520 intro. its the only battery rated at 1500 all the rest use either 1230 at best or even 1000. however talk time is what matters the most rather than standby time. so compare talk time and it'll show u which will last longer when you are using it * +

If it has the same 1230mAh batt as 9900 then the 9790 should have better batt life due to the smaller screen, but yeah, the batteries RIM is fitting to these BBOS7 phones are TINY. * +
