does anyone know if it is right tht the police cannot trace msgs sent by it to who they are from and who they are to i was just wondering *

According to to my knowledge, BBM messages are encrypted so no they cannot be read by anyone but RIM, unless the police convince RIM to give them the decrypted messages. messages from BBM go through RIMs servers not the network's servers. *

But i did find something very interesting. i connected a 9300 to my PC and found a folder call 'IM' on the memory card which had all conersations via BBM logged without encryption... *
