Since this weekend, my bb's indicator constantly and frequently changes between GPRS and 3G (with and without the bb sign). I'm ending up paying for data that should go through BIS. Does anybody else have this and why would this be happening? I'm a housewife so I'm always in the same location. I've rebooted, checked my network settings, sent service books - but nothing seems to stop this inconsistent and unstable behaviour. Does anybody have answers coz I'm puzzled and perplexed by this? * +

I'm getting the same nonsense with cell c, heck all my bbm msgs didn't get to where they were supposed to go. * +

I'm on my old Ericsson coz my bb absolutely refuses ALL internet connections - email, browser, streaming, etc. Been on hold with Vodacon for 30min and still no luck. Does anybody else here also struggle to get internet connectivity? On bb I get nothing. * +

Thats coz BIS is down in most of europe and even in Africa. So its probably you and 99 percent of blackberry users in SA due to some fault at RIM networks. Don't start blaming network providers now lol * +

Thanx @phly, i didnt kno fo sure but suspected dat much coz my w810i's also voda and works gud. Do u kno whats happenin at RIM? A few mnths ago i was braggin to my husband abt BB/RIM, now i feel like a fool coz i got constant probs now. Thanx agn @ phly. * +

Only seeing this now. well most are blaming the upgrade of BIS to 4.1 but RIM has been pretty much tight lipped on the issue but as i'm typing this most people in SA atleast have BIS up and running altho some still comlaining about BBM so that might still be down. But i figure by tomorrow all will be well *
