The resistor can b found inside your car radio, red,red,black,gold is the color bands. Emergency use only, and the resistor can b connected any way around, as long as it goes on the positive wire!!! * +

220 ohm resistor Red, red, brown, silver tolerance band: 22 x 10 = 220 ohms........Silver is the same as gold, some chinese manufacturers ise slightly different coding........ * +

ok, i made a mistake, TAKE note, its Red, Red, Brown, Gold. it happens when u type b4 u think, otherwise ull end up with a 22 ohm resistor!!!........... * +

If u really need an emergency charger, just use a 220 ohm resistor on a length of wire, and put the negative and positive sides to correspond with the polarity on THE PHONE battery. The resistor goes on the positive wire, now connect to a 12volt car battery,double check polarity, do not start the engine, use at own risk!!! * +

So, to clear it up, positive to positive, negative to negative, with the 220 ohm resistor anywhere on the positive wire.........i hate it when i make dumb mistakes........... *
