I'm in a slight dilemna and wanted to hear your opinions. So i decided to hustle for a blackberry. I dont want an 8520, it has to have atleast 3g. My question is would you go for a 9300 3g brand new going for R2400 or would you fork out R2800 for a 2nd hand, about 2 month old 9780 bold? which and why? * +

i dunno the 9780 bold, but i have the 9300 and am very happy with the phone itself. here are a couple of guys with more experience with the bb phones that will be able to a55 ist you betta. * +

got a week to decide. problem is only R400 difference between the two one new the other 2nd hand. the 9780 is a bold sleek bb with 3g, its shipped standerd with OS version 6 and has 5mp camera. So basically all the features of the 9300 curve in a bold plus better cam, better battery life or so i hear and faster processor etc, oh and more ram. 512mb. twice the mem in 9300 3g * +

Well...that's a very very cheap 2nd hand price and only the owner knows its history if you wana be safe and asure yourself no hassles then go for brand new..that's wat I would do in my opinion...but if u wana take a chance get the 9780...but all those people who are getting 9780 I don't know why they are leaving a big screen torch for it? Almost the same price..I have a 9300 very good phone. * +

9780, no question about it.As long as it is in very good condition, and u can trust the seller, meaning the phone won't get blacklisted. * +

Actually u can get a Torch 9800 for that price, with a bit of haggling, 2nd hand, but almost new. * +

i have never fancied a torch Ungers and i cant seem to decide whether to settle for a 9300 which has the basics that i need or put the extra money and get the 9780. I was told its genuine and in very good condition. plus 2 months cudnt have taken alot out of it, reason for sale is owner wants an iphone. i checked junkmail and one can hardly get a decent 9780 for that price. I may just go for it * +
