is it only mine or does your app world also just hang without displaying anything? got the latest app world but it's just unresponsive. did a bat. pull but still nothing. browser works fine, netturtle works fine, just not app world and another 3rd party app that just hangs. is this a regular thing with app world? * +

is firmware and operating system the same thing? how do i check what firmware i have and how do i update it if it isn't the operating system? i have 9300 with os 5.0.0.1007. i'll appreciate your advice, thanks in advance. * +

its your device sofware maria - the operation system that you currently using - to check it press alt + shift (aA) + H then check app version or options about - hope you did a back up before installing appworld - always to it before installing anything lol i learned that the hard way - or a weekly backup should be fine . will now check out this new appworld * +

thanx lowerrr, mine says: Vendor id 168, Platform 6.3.0.71, App version 5.0.0.1007 (1648). I did try os6 a couple of days but didn't find it enjoyable and so I switched back to os5. So, is my specs ok for bb app world to run smoothly still? do i need this firmware update you're referring to? * +
