I have downloaded the blackberry playbook simulator on pc,and while fiddling to get the simulator to connect via bluetooth, my internet explorer started working while the simulator ran on the background.Just remember, VM a55 igns a new ip everytime u open it, and the playbook password is playbook.I never got the browser on the playbook to work.And make sure the simulator is in developer mode. * +

I have no download limit, but had to a55 ign the playbook ip to internet explorer everytime I want to use it.Best is to keep it connected the whole time.Google for any answers u need.I didn't get charged a single cent on my prepaid sim.Enjoy, don't inbox me. * +

I forgot one last bit of info.To get the playbook simulator ip, once in developer mode, click on the icon to the right of where it displays the time. you will need java,dotnet3.5 and virtual machine.Service pack3 for xp.That's it, I cannot help more. * +

I found something else just now. Use Chrome or Safari browser for pc. It integrates better with the playbook simulator. if u manage to get the actual browser on the playbook to work, pls post it here, what u did etc. Thanx. * +

Actually I don't really care if the playbook simulator works as a standalone or not, it provides a gateway to free internet on the BIS data plan. * +

While the playbook app is running, press alt plus p. Then from that screen you can change explorers ip to match the ip on the playbook.Now I think this covers this issue. The rest is more or less straightforward. * +
