no... I think its EPROMed on every device.. flashing d fone won't even change dat, its on its special IC on d board * +

Changing your PIN is really easy, buy a new Blackberry. Or, their are tools available to change your current PIN, but will render your device useless, google radio lab tool. But don't hold anyone responsible of your use of the program, its not a public program. * +

Chuk you are actually correct, I just put it in easy to understand, normally devices have what's call OTP which stands for One Time Programmable memory, which only allows things like PIN and IMEI to be written once, but as I said, tools are available to change this. PIN is stored on the EPROM, which is basically the processor part of the phone. *
