no they dont as most policies say like for like new or like new to save on money probably. my phone new is worth about 250 to 300 pound think and only pay 25 excess so they can offer what they like! * +

Im using my nokia at the moment which i hate lol, i had to get a replacement blackberry once and i could tell it was a reconditioned model cause the volume b*ttons on the side didnt work properly and there was light shining out of the phone in certain parts lol. I rang up n they just replaced it next day. * +

they do, I work for a telecom company ( not naming for good reason ) and yes insurance states like for like unless unavailable, after that its a DMR option or wait. However, with the problems this customer is facing they are obligated to replace for an unused PIN. as RIM would also not be best pleased with this frustration. *
