my pearl used to do that. you need to take it back from where you bought it coz it needs a software upgrade or they will replace the hand set for you * +

my old blackberry bold 9000 did same but got it replaced through warranty. blackberry use track pad now cause trackba11s are so unreliable n dont last * +
