Anyone into these things here?I recently got one from ebay,a hyper 7 black edition,with .21cu (3.5cc) 3 port race motor,anyway,after owning a few electric cars i was very surprised at the level of engineering that goes into these things,they really fly!I took mine to the bmx track today,and hit all the jumps,massive airs,and some burly hi speed crashes,these things can really take a battering. * +

what a shjit post. Anyway,heres a bit more. Today i got an rc boat,it's 1.3mtrs long hydrofoil type powered by a 46cc,two stroke chainsaw type engine,it's loud bordering on offensive with straight out pipe,the rudder has a knife edge on it and hopefully,it n hauls and throws massive roost.i've just finished putting it together tonight,so i'll add an update, to this piece of cr*p on sa ay. * +

i do 1/10th electric. never really fancied the nitro's myself although no doubt will get one at some point. yeah they are really well made cos they do fly when you open the throttle up and weigh quite a bit. very nice. any clubs round your place to race it? * +

got nitro car myself yet after having engine replaced it just chews through all the drive cogs ,yet they are super duper fast hobby toys that can out do the electric ones in all departments when they run hiccup free ,and guarantee to draw an audience * +

all departments except torque, and speed due to brushless and lipos, and being able to race indoors. Nitros look sound and smell awesome which is why they draw the crowd but they sure as don't out do the electric in all departments at all * +

brushless have a massive power to weight ratio. they are just faster racing. battery technology is on the verge of nanotechnology- a nano lipo will charge in 10 minutes and give longer run times, last for 4-5x times as many cycles. stuff of science fact * +
