i have a mercedes wif auto gear. on da gear is write P-R-N-D-3-2. i know da use of P-R-N-D but 3 and 2 are for what? *

Old tech tiptronic...well not really. It's the highest allowed gear....erm...k lets rather try explain it like this. If u put it in 1 then the gearbox will stay in 1st gear. If u select 2 the car wil still pull away in 1st gear then change to 2nd and then stay in 2nd, cant go to 3rd cos 2nd is highest gear allowed *

Ur manual will say its for engine braking wen goin downhill to stop the car runnin away but there are much better uses *
