seriously tho, power steering varies- my old ford escort had the worst i've ever owned-too vague at speed, no feel. The astra i have now is good, light parking but heavier once at speed * +

a lot of accidents happen when its wet with light cars what a stupid statement. its down to the driver not pas. * +

campa 5.07.09 - 12:56pm
yes and no motoguy pas makes ppl lazy, wafting along aircon keeping em cool, 1 finger steering, knowing their abs n traction control will keep em safe. They've crashed before they even wake up. Modern cars have rain sensing wipers n auto lights on ffs. Driver doesn't even need to wake up when it rains or gets dark. Junk the driving aids n accident rates will drop * +

i can see the wide tyre argument for pas but no need on a saxo or fiesta. If you need pas to park one of them, you should think about taking the bus. Swoop, you can't just disconnect pas, it will make the steering too heavy. The rack needs to be geared for non pas. The only way to remove it is to fit a non pas rack * +
