Agree wit ahad.. Al respect to vw, bt in 1966 alfaromeo already was d fastest 1600 in d world wit 8,5s. In 1968 d gordini 1300 ran 0-100 in unda 9s! Up to today no standard 1300 can equal that. Early 70' was ruled by d 140z coupe datsun pumpin 85kw frm a 1400! Then ther was escort mk1 gt, alfaromeos veloce n sprint, rx2 etc. D early 80's was dull.. Kadett gte, golf1 gti didnt liv up to expectation * +
