this is for the guys who really understand modifying etc,atm i am running a very high spec and powered car.researching on the net i have seen a few people actually meshing the turbo,what benefit does this give u? * +

if you mean removing everything in front of the turbo and mounting a bell mouth with a mesh screen directly to the turbo,i think your time and effort could be better spent. People do this in racing applications and dyno shootouts etc where the environment is fairly controlled-ie: clean intake air,it represents a small loss in intake restriction. that tiny possible increase in power and response,would hardly be worth it. Having no filter will obviously allow alot more foreign matter into the engine -dust,bugs,small children etc decreasing the longevity of the motor. So in short,don't bother. * +
