anyone else heard sat nav may not work soon? The satellites are owned by us military and they let us use them for free. d*mn nice of them i say. Anyway, caught the tail end of the news the other day and a us spokesman was saying something about turning some off for repair or replacement or summat. This would mean sat nav wouldn't be able to triangulate position. When asked how long this would take *

how many weeks, the spokesman said not off for weeks, could be years before they back working. Not heard anything else about it since. Did i dream it? Surely someone else heard this? The emergency services will be screwed without sat nav. *
