Guessin u sa guys need to pa55 tests on a small bike to get license? Would be better to ride small bike for a while to get experience. You will kill yourself if you jump straight onto a gsxr. * +

i'm in uk m8. We gotta pa55 tests on 125 cc bike then limited to-i think-33 hp bike for 2 years. Kinda makes sense to give new riders experience before moving up to a big bike * +

If you do your direct access you can get any bike. But its insurance costs and getting used to the power! Maybe get a 600 because they r a bit more forgiving and easy to use. Good options is like an er6 or an sv and then work up. * +

as gixxer says kawa er6, suzi sv, gsf or bandit 600 all look good and have the power to be fun. Don't go for a sports 600, you won't need or be able to use the power until you have some experience-razor sharp handling and power that need respect. * +
