I bought a new car with reversing sensors and whenever it rains one of the sensors doesnt work properly. I get yelled at by the voice saying 'caution! 0.5 mtrs!' when i know im not that close to anything behind me. Does rain normally effect reversing sensors? Has any1 else had the same prob? * +

rain shouldn't normally effect sensors. Water could be getting into the wiring and shorting out causing the prob. If it's a new car, take it back and tell them you not happy. It's not working right and you want it fixing. Don't be fobbed off with the excuse that they all do that, cos they don't. * +

Its a Getz. Ive just had all the wiring fixed in the reversing sensors the other wk cos i kept getting a E1 and E2 error on the lil screen. Had nothing but probs with the sensors since i got my car 7 months ago. Wish i hadnt of said yes to the sensors now but they were thrown in free with some of the optional extras i got for the car. * +
