Any power improvement on a vehicle consumes fuel. Tho u can save fuel on certain mods as turboes or branches bt it depends 100perc on ur driving style. If ur gonna use that extra power d improment gives u, u gona pay d fuel as well. I mean who wants to ride 60kph if u cnt hear d roar from d exhaust or d wastegate openin.. * +

excuse my ignorance, but i'm thinking a turbo just 'fitted' to an otherwise standard n/a motor, would make it run really lean...wouldn't it? I thought an increase in the pecentage of air, in the fuel/air ratio, would require an increase in the percentage of the fuel aswell-not just for performance, but even for correct running. * +

and if im wrong, then why,in performance japanese sports car magazines,do the owners of these cars, always upgrade fuel systems, particularly injectors and pumps,to much higher flowing units, when upgrading the turbo(s)? * +
