my basic understanding on all things diesel lets me think its got something to do with the ''idle controll valve'' dont know what you call it on a diesel but it works with vacuum right does a diesel have one what does it look like and where is it located on the ford? * +

hmmm seems you know just as mutch about diesels as me lol ' when i buy a car i have it serviced by a pro before i drive it around ' i have it booked monday morning at my macky but i think its that vacuum valve thing lol that should regulate your revs * +

Lol thesayen, ive workd quite alot on 2.5 rangers b4.. Ive owned 1 recently as well nd its a posibility. If u had it serviced recently then its probably sumtin else. *
