If you dont really use your boot for storing dirty dusty muddy stuff etc. Ive seen pics where theyve made a fibreglass/wooden enclosure which uses the wheel well for a sub box. You get all your space back n it wont effect the sound * +

U can crop ur spec sub enclosure by 50,just fill new enclosure wit fiberfill * +

Who need spare tyres anyway? Its not like u could get robbed or killed when ur stuck next to the road. It also gives u a chance to listen to that new cd with ur sound system in the boot while u wait 4 sum1 to bring ur spare. * +
