r airbags cheap to replace?want to know as my car has been in a accident and i dont think the insurance company will write it off.so was wondering what it would cost to replace 3 side airbags? * +

my model is th astra vxr.one of the airbags came out the side of my recaro seat so im guessing it wil b cheaper to replace the seat so that leaves two more.i just hope it gets written off * +

cheaper to replace the car lol.not the sort of thing you will find in a breakers but you could try a vauxhall breakers may be lucky. If you want a laugh ask in a vauxhall dealers.check in the back of autotrader ring round some airbag specialists they may help * +

Replacing airbags is far from cheap . Was it a crash and they went off . You will need airbag ecu seat belts then programming . Prices roughly each airbag 350 pound control unit up to 200 pound seat belts up to 150 pound each . Programming approx 75 pound . Go through insurance be best option as your looking at excess of 2 grand. Btw passanger airbag is part of dashboard 500 quid plus . It isnt cheap * +

Did it save your life? I doubt it. Perhaps you dont actually need to buy something you dont intend to use? I dont have any. Not even in the wheel. And that's fine,because i drive carefully. Vulnerability is a safety feature we've given up over the last couple of decades - and doesn't it just show in the way people drive these days. * +
