So what makes dcoe carbs backfire?Ive got a 40dcoe on sa ay and im still setting it up,now acording to the plug colour it seams very close to spot on but when the cars cold it backfires through the carb. Any ideas to prevent this? * +

lol a cold engine needs a richer fuel mixture.. Might b a problem wit d choke setup or mayb d mainjet is to small. * +

Already got it sorted,newer type of weber,its got something called a start mechanism,that richens it and helps while the car is cold. Still trying to figure out why cylinder 4 is ruNning lean *
