Why are there too many fwd carz on the road than rwd.when its been proven they are more stable at handling than fwd..and wat a real car shud be..cost saving?technology? * +

There are actually some very good fwd cars out there, especially in hot hatches. Ive had 3 fwd cars and they ain't as tail happy as a rwd car. In the wrong conditions a rwd car can be a nightmare however I do love the fact you get more torque with rwd. Oh and the new Focus RS which is being billed as one of the best if not the best hatch is fwd * +

all wheel drive is the best. I went 4 a ride in a 350kw evo a while ago and it scared the out ov me! The accelaration is phenominal no traction loss at all. An the speed u kan take corners at! Holy ! * +

its mainly cost factor n u get more interior n boot space in a FWD cos there is no tunnel n diff eating up space. its cheaper 2 build cos the engine/box etc can b fitted quicker n easier unlike fitting prop n diff etc. * +

drifting is more fun in rwd than 4wd..lol../.i wudnt mind losin sum boot space and interior for fun drivin lol..burnin sum rubber lol../watch the arabs duin fwd drifting..on youtube..they are mad ..usin hand/emergency brakes..its more dangerous * +

Yeah rwd is the best. Awd has its advantages in slippery conditions but cant quite match rwd unless its skyline GTR. * +

Yeah 4wd disadvantage is under steer.fwd is a pain to work on *
