I heard that fitting a cone filter will trigger it but replacing the filter in the box with a kn will do no harm. ??? * +

That depends on wher d afm is placed.. Most manufacturers secure them to d aircleaner housing. In dat case u cnt remove it. Fitting a knn or simota oil treated filter element can do no harm. *
