d*mn stuff has gotten expensive or im just clueless,went to the engine importers this morning to have a look around, 2.0lt 16v egi mazda R4750, 4age 1.6 16v R6500, fwd gearbox for 4age R2500, 1.6 vtec motor R8500 , 13b rotary turbo R7500 and they cant give you any kind of gaurentee the motors. Went up the road to a vw scr*pyard, Mk1 golf calipers SECONDHAND, R250 each * +

The prices have gone up coz of the dollar rate, they have to spend more rands to import and the rand/dollar rate affecs the prices to a great extent

i dont know what the exchange rate from rand to gbp but over er 13bs are cheap can pic up a 20b for 4.5grand even rb30 engines are not that pricey atm * +

They have got a 32v 4 ohc V8 audi motor there but i didnt even bother with a price, they also have alot of rb20de motors. Im still in 2 minds bout the 4age and the 13b ,but ideally i would love a 20v black top with vvt. * +

if you going rbs should look at 26s or 30s 13bs are grat but need regular rebuilds same as 20bs *
