possibly one of the best engines in the world is the 2.7 twin turbo ford/peugeot designed..........diesel. as seen in jaguars, landies etc. this is the very same engine that for example, powered jeremy clarkson driving like a loon to reach blackpool with as badly as possible fuel economy lol. beyond that PR stunt however, its a great engine * +

the petrol equivalent has to be the BMW 3 litre twin turbo. technical tour de force, and lets be honest here, the only other really big company that can make a petrol engine as refined as BMW is probably honda *
