Strange question. But what do you think is the best engine or engine system out there for a daily drive? For economy to n from work? Around the city? But also happy on a motorway cruise. Not for racing. Track day might be fun. But as a day to day drive? * +

Nissan 1400 bakkie its lite and economical plus you can do business with it and park just about anywhere in town ie. loading zone, since its classified as a LDV... * +

Fuel injection is usually lighter on fuel than carb... But its costly to buy like the Velociti 1.4i or Yaris... Go for a Carb car its usually cheaper, and you get more or less the same fuel economy... * +

best engine i gotta say the honda hydrogen engine * +

Ok. How about realistic ideas. Hydrogen is years away yet. Suppose i should've been more precise. Can you still buy carb driven? Thought almost everything was injected these days. My inclination is towards a vtec of some kind. Lower revs around town. With option to bounce of the limiter up to motorway speeds. Vtec. Vvti. Zetec etc. A puma zetec is tempting. Civic or crx. Or other options? * +
