Your battery doesnt power your stereo,unless the engine is turned off. Yet your stereo is less effective then - it prefers the 14.4 volts it gets from your alternator than the 12 volts your battery can only manage. *

size of battery..means more current..it might do ya gud if u r using a upgraded sound system..like u av a big power amp+capacitor+electronic crossover n etc..but not for ya standard volume..coz all batteries are 12v-14v...voltage matters not current *amp* *
