Just make sure that it is the facelift model and NOT the first E46. Their turbo's do tend to give a lot of trouble. * +

I think the 01 has 136 bhp, get a newer one for 150bhp. SE spec will have auto aircon, reverse sensors, better suspension, etc. New engine breathers and removing swirl flaps will reduce turbo failure. Remember its a diesel not a sport car * +

The pre-facelift 320d's turbo WILL die. No matter wat you remove. Totally rubbish yet expensive turbo's. How does R13k sound to you. .rather get a facelift model. Looks better too. * +

www.e46zone.co.uk - Look there for some REAL advice, instead of people who don't know WTF they're talking about. Example: The SE model has no different suspension to the standard spec. The only model with uprsted suspension is the Sport. * +

I'm sure somewhere in the production run the ES had the basic suspension and the SE had either the sport, msport or premium suspension. Later on (after 2001) the ES was also upgraded. * +
