Hi. Cud url help me out. My alarm on my bmw e36 328i stopped working n so did da remote central locking. Im lukn 2 fix it but 1st i need 2 find it. I read around n it said behind da glove box. I opened n checkd but dnt know which box it is. How do i identify it? * +

you have to take the glove box out completely to find the alarm and general module which works you central locking. * +

if the remote key isnt working then it sounds like you need a new general module from bmw. For an e46 supplied and fitted by bmw your looking at around 300GBP. Does it not work at all or just on really hot/cold days? * +

make sure there isnt an open circut in the bcm. thats what happened to my car. had to get it replaced * +

Black Mamba is always an good alarm system. Lol. Did u took the car to the dealers? They wouldnt ask u much just to check what is wrong then u can work from there on.. * +
