I had one but the automatic..oh geez that car gave me so much cr*p that I sold it 3months after buying it. It was so well taken care of and the service history also looked great. 500km after I bought it the waterpump packed, 2000km-diff started to vibrate when coasting. 3000km-engine started to make an unusual noise when warm, bmw technician said piston slab! 4000km- radiator gave in+juddering * +

coming from the gearbox. So I sold it. I was very unhappy with the car. I dont wana tell u what to do but I would personally go for an E46 328i. Did u know that the r more economical than the old E36 328i too? * +

But if u do buy one fitmike just make sure that its in a very good condition and that it has a full service history at BMW and NOT at Joeys garage 24 hour service, hope ur not going to have the same experience that I had. * +
