Sounds like a cracked/worn Oil ring or leaking oil seal/gasket. Check all oil piping and oil seals as well as under the engine for any possible leaks. If no leaks could be your oil rings either worn out or broken? * +

But VVankel was his name. And its not really a rotor,as it doesnt spin centred. I have designed one that does,but im a bit late to bring the world a new design of internal combustion engine - even if it would spin to 30k rpm with a fraction of the centrifugal drag of a piston engine. *
