Well id like to say the new electric BMW Mini. With a range of 150 miles on a 2.5 hour charge, its flexible enough for most of us. Looks no different to a Cooper, and can sprint from 0-62mph in just 8.5 seconds. But how can it be 'green' when the 1.5 ton,two seater is built in England, then sent over to Germany to have over 5,000 lithium-ion cells fitted, before being shipped again round to America? Its greener to keep your old small car on the road. Fact. * +

prius uses so much energy to build its ridiculous. its materials and components are moved around the world multiple times, then after its built in japan it has to get on another ship to travel all the way to europe or the U.S. you would be greener buying a small hatchback built in your own country with mostly local resources
