Im thinking along with my mum in starting up an ladies only taxi service with pink taxis and lady drivers how do we go about this and where would we start thx * +

you would need to buy cars, advertise, employ drivers, insure, tax and mot the cars, find premises, register with the inland revenue, set up a bank account, have radios, the list goes on. you need to speak to a small business advisor at the bank for the best advice * +

but bear in mind that without a buisiness plan they will laugh in your face. you need to work out how much the setup would cost, listing where you are buying the stuff from, and show them how you would generate profit based on sales. you will probably have to carry out questionaires to find out about demand etc... * +

with the current driver registration and number issues most of the taxis nowadays are safe for women anyway so why they would opt for a female only service? unless you were considerably cheaper than the other competitors * +

and also consider the fact that it would only be of any use to single girls or lesbians as if a girl is out with hubby, boyfriend or the kids then the taxi service would be useless to them. * +

theres one in warrington called pink ladies with pink cars etc etc, think they went bust for a while then got rescued * +

Yes but also groups etc and i think girls would prefer the service just for peace of mind any girls reading please leave comments * +
