A serious topic.My clutch is extremely hard! I mean its mad! And snappy! I spin all over d place and tyres are not cheap,what can i do to soften it? I already eased d cable, what else? I haven't poked finger in a gearbox in 10years (i'm 20 now) so i'm clueless.its a bullet box ford,4spd close ratio .help! * +

Lol you have what is cald a clutch getn ready to fly apart what has hapend the aged clutch disk has eather twistd the cinter solid an the spring releaf is not workn or u have a isue with the surface layers have split an moved over top each other causing quick grab * +

Replace it and let the flywheel scim. Also replace the release bearing. * +

If it has a cable, try oiling/greasing the cable b4 doing anytn major... Had the same prob on a Nissan Sentra, it ws hard n felt lyk a truck clutch!! the cable could possibly need renewing.. * +
