Wil i get more speed on my bike if i change my bikes procket to a smaller one and is there any down side of doing this- please recommend something before i make a mistake *

Putting a smaller sprocket up front will give better acceleration but you could run out of revs at top end.if your bike cant reach peak revs in top gear then this can be a good mod.if you go smaller at the back it will have the opposite effect. Less acceleration and higher speeds at given revs. But you may not reach the max power in top gear *
